    5. Long ago when the people had cracks on their hands the would wash them in the cow's urion and they would be all right.
    6. If a person had sore eyes they would wash them in black tea, the last thing at night.
    7. If a person had a cold they would boil all the herbs and give them the juice to drink at night and the cold would be gone in the morning
    8. If a person had a sore throat, they would put a stocking of roasted potatoes against they throat the last thing at night
    9. If a person had corns, to wet oat-meal and put it between the corns at night, before going to bed.
    10. Rheumatism, to boil paraphin (paraffin) oil and rub it against it.
    11. If a person had a stone-bruise they would put a bit of bacon on it.
