Done says the peasant but on one condition
What is it says the king.
That you'll never steal any more cattle by night says the peasant.
The king swore by his banner that he would not and when a Dane swore by his banner he kept his word.
That ended the night raids in Donegal by the Danes.

There was one in Stewarts land of Cornaroy. Drumshanbo and the field is known by the mass rock field or the mass stone field.
John Nangle of Cornaroy knows the spot but the rock is gone.
The Stewarts were protestants but were good ones and helped their Catholic neighbours.
