    The Nine Daughters.
    Nine men jump out on floor and catch one another round the waist tight up to one another. The first man is called the horse and the last the tail.
    With bodies swaying and feet prancing they represent themselves as tradesmen of some kind tinker tailor or blacksmith to the following rhyme.
    Here we come nine blacksmiths are we
    Here we come so airy and free
    Coming to court your fair lady
    Or will we get lodging here o here[?]
    Man of the house "moryab" sitting in the corner answers (one p[?] boy of course)
    My daughters she sits so close to my knee
    That you or your blacksmiths won't get her from me
    So you'll get no lodging here o here
    Out with the rubbish and pay them well
    They go for the door and every one hits them as they try to rush out. They are hit with belts and pieces of straw ropes, but they don't get out quick enough to escape the beating.
