Don't throw out water at night. Slops and other water should be kept till morning.
Don't regret milk spills. Always say "God bless the cows - some poor soul wants it".
If a mother is leaving a baby in the cradle and going out of her she puts the tongs across the cradle.

Say "God bless us" if any one sneeze.
Don't go the well after sunset.
If you are eating your breakfast and if any sleeping member sneezes in his sleep - put a bit of whatever your eating in his mouth.
Don't cut yourself shaving the morning of your marriage.
Don't get married in Black or Green. Black for Death and Green for grief.
Don't fit the wedding ring on your intended wife.
Don't sit beside or walk beside the bride to be on way to church.
It's not lucky to meet a funeral the day of the marriage.
