2. [Taking?] hold of one another round the waist and singing as they marched round there was a song "He a fine fellow for your daughter [so found?]" Some out outside hut.
3. Boys got on hunkers around in a circle. One boy was fool in the middle. A belt was passed from one to another under their legs. When the fool would not be looking he got a stroke of the belt on the head. When he got the man that had the belt he was released and the one named took his place as fool in the middle. Last played around here at Pat Gilrane's grandfathers wake about fifty or fifty four years ago.
5. Riding the Wild Ass. Put a narrow plank or [log?] shaft from one table to another. Sit on it as a tailor sits, and a stick in your hand. You had to knock fives times at one end of stick and [?] clothes at the other end.
