    Come all ye Roman Catholics
    That stand on firm ground
Where no Luther's breed or Calvin's seed
    Can ever put them down
It was in the year of our Lord 1834
    Those tyrants they come down
    And trampled on us sore
"Clear off Clear off" it was their cry
    No papist there dare dwell
With powder and ball, we'll drive them all
    to Connaught or to hell
But long life attend the brave Ballinamuck boys
They were always stout and bold
They would let them know before they'd go
They were standers there of old
They would let them know before they'd go
They were a terror to their foes
This brimsic crew they did subdue
    And left them lying low
    The next was Billy Morrison
    Undaunted he stepped in
He says I will be a terror
    To all those Ribbon Men
