- (continued from previous page)The above is a drawing of an iron slab 22" high and 2ft wide which was formerly embedded in the wall of a cottage about two miles from Drumshanbo. It is the only specimen left of the iron smelting carried on in former times on the Furnace Hill a small height outside Drumshanbo.
