    Whooping Cough is cured by putting children out under a young donkey;s legs saying In the name of the Father etc.
    The seventh son of a family cures 'Evil'
    A man-child who never saw his father has the cure of 'thrush'
    The food e.g. milk which a ferret leaves behind him cures 'whooping cough' - three drops to be taken saying:- 'In the name of the Father.
    Evil is a sore that breaks out on face or body. The seventh child by rubbing the spot, kills the insect that is inside the sore.
    A poultice of mustard linseed cures chest trouble.
    A black snail cures . Hang the snail on a thorn - as he withers the also becomes smaller and vanishes on seventh day.
    Jaundice is cured by certain families.
    The cure is made from herbs but it is a secret.
