    Good luck all gallant heroes,
    Who live in Donegal,
    Where the peasantry are rejoicing,
    At Lord Leitrim's sad downfall,
    He'll dispossess no more on Erin's shore,
    For him we now defy,
    Since with a loaded pistol,
    We forced him for to die.
    At Gortla Wood that morning,
    It was glorious to view,
    When Bracken and Buchanan,
    And the Earl we did subdue,
    Their skulls and brains were fractured,
    And left there in their gore,
    So those cases of evictions,
    Will never come no more.
    When the deed was perpetrated,
    Without delay we went away,
    We took the fields and hedges,
    And then crossed Mulroy Bay,
    The monster we did tremble,
