A wedding procession followed and every two linked arms and a fiddler played. At night the straw-boys came under order from a captain and sergaent. They danced and cheered and very often fought. The helmets were made of staw and they turned their clothes inside out. About ninty years ago the priest performed the sacrament of marriage in the bride's father's house
