    Fairy Forts.
    There is a fort in the townland of Mullaghmore on the farm of Francis Mc Ternan. It is circular in shape surrounded by a ditch made of earth and stones and bushes. The local people would not take the stones or bushes away from it as they imagine it unlucky. There is another fort of the same kind in Robert Johnston's land, on a hill in the townland of Leamascally. The two forts are not in view of each other. There is another fort on a hill belonging to Hugh Dolan, Tullinawilliam, Killargue, Co. Leitrim, similar to the fort on the farm of
