  1. Once upon a time there lived two poor people together in a little hut. The husband was a great fisherman. This morning he started off for the sea and he caught a great eel and when he was putting him in his bag the eel said that if he would set him free again that he would grant him anything he would want. He let him go and went quickly home and told his wife what had happened. She said "you old ass you, why didn't you ask for a cottage and a garden. Back he went to the sea again. He stood on the shore and said "Old man of the sea, come to me" The
