  1. Every boy and girl likes to make home made toys and this is one I make myself in the Summer. I get a wisp and I pick some daisies which grow in in the meadow. I pluck off the stem up as far as the flower. I put a whole through the middle of the flower. I continue this until I fill the wisp. I put a knot on the wisp and I tie it round my neck or round my dress and I have what is called a daisy chain.
This is another toy that boys and girls often make. They get an empty thread spool and they pair oneside of it off to a point. They get a bit of a stick and stick it down in the hole of the spool. Then it is made. They catch the bit of stick and whirl the pointed side around on a board. It spins away for some time. It causes amusement to watch it spin round.
