    Food
In the days of out forefathers tea was not used as frequently as it is nowadays. In those days their food consisted most of home grown stuffs. Their breakfast consisted of cold porridge and milk which was cooked the night before and some tea and oaten cake. The oaten cake was made from oat meal and the oat meal was part of the oats which grew in the field.
The next meal was made up of bacon and eggs and potatoes. The potatoes grew out in the field and the bacon was their own curing. That time there was no foreign bacon coming into the country. On other days of the week the midday meal consisted of butter
