The graveyard of Kilmakerril is situated....

The graveyard of Kilmakerril is situated about three miles from Manorhamilton on the left hand side of the main Manorhamilton - Ennniskillen road. The story connected with it is as follows: There was a prince in Langford named O Farrell. One time his wife let home to go to Lough Derg.
There was a monastery in Fermanagh called Kill - Bu where she stayed for one night. There was a monk in the monastery who fell in love with the woman. She arose early the next morning and continued on the journey. When she was coming back she spent another night in the same monastery and the monk began to annoy her again. She left the place secretly but the monk followed her. She journeyed as far as Kilmakerril
