    In this district marriages go on before lent.
    Matches were made in this district. Money and goods were given as dowry.
    Long ago marriages went on in houses. Straw boys visited the houses and they also visit them now. They are dressed with hats made from straw, and false-faces and old coats turned in side out.
    They go into the house and dance and sing and some people in this district treat them well.
    The wedding procession went on long ago, and horse racing went on coming home from the wedding.
