  1. About twenty years ago Mr. Denis Bradley lived in the Stone Pound, with his wife. He fell out with her one day, and he told her he was going to drown himself.
    He went to the Lough on the Stone Pound and he sat down on the bank of the Lough and took off his boots.
    His wife sent the guards after him and they got him sitting on the bank of the Lough. They asked him what he had off his boots for, and he said he was leaving them for a parable.
    A few years ago a man the name of Thomas Mac Donagh of Glenade wanted to do his Spring work, and he had no horse to cart with.
    He went to the mountain to get one. He got one and he worked with it for a week.
    When he was finished with it, he got on it to leave it back, when it saw the lake it took a fit of galloping and galloped into the lake and drowned
