  1. Formed long ago, yet made today,
    employed while others sleep.
What few would like to give away
Yet none would like to keep.
    A bed.
what grows in the wood, and sounds in the town, and for its masks eand many a crown.
    a fiddle.
    Useless, useless instrument.
Once it's bought it's never lent.
The man who buys it does not want it
and the man who wants it doesn't know it.
    A coffin.
    As white as an angel
    As light as a feather.
    But heavy and dark
    when you squeeze it together
    Snow
As I sat on my hunkers,
    I peeped through my winkers,
and I saw the dead burying the living.
    Raking the fire.
