    over a hundred years ago coarse pottery in quantities sufficient to supply the domestic demand were made near sromahaire from a kind of blueish white clay found on the western base of Benbo and garments were found near durgamboy.
    Fringes, flannels, and woollen stuffs were made at this time throughout Leitrim + could always command good prices.
