    At 5 o'clock in the evening goes Mc Kena and old Tom,
    Over the hills right manfully they merrily jogged all
    Going down at Adam Algeo's McKena he did say,
    W eel wait for Conn McTernan down by the railway.
    It was at the railway gates stands me darling Tom.
    And upon the Curley bridge McKena said heel wait for Conn.
    And as soon as a Conn came up to them they walked to Rooney's gate.
    And Conn lay down upon the ground and said and said for Mick McGowan he'd wait
    As soon as Mick McGowan came up to Conn he asked him to see his lass.
    And as soon as Conn was introduced he introduced a glass.
    The cork was drew the bottle slew another one was got.
    And beggorres big and Honie McGowan jumped to her feet and hung on a terrible pot.
