  1. Here are stories about fairies (and some of them are very [?] stories) and some of them are very interesting.
    It is said that there is a field near Blackem Co. Fermanagh and no one could ever mow or crop it. The reason for this was the field belonged to the fairies and they often gave signals not to crop or interfere with it.
    A man named Sandy Atchison owned it and he said he would mow it by force. So he got the horses and put them in the mowing machine and brought them to the field. As soon as the started to mow the shoes fell off the horses. He brought them to the smith and got them shod. Three times the shoes fell off the horses and each time he got them shod.
