  1. The local fair is held in the town of Kiltyclogher. It was never known to be held at crossroads or hillsides.
    There was a fair held at "Mogue" on the first of June every year. All the farm produce used to be sold there. The O'Rourke's of Breffni and the McGuire's of Fermanagh were always fighting there. It is said that whiskey used to be sold there also. Often on rainy days the people built canvas tents there, to use as shelter.
    It is the custom to hold a fair on "White Hill" evey second Sunday of July. Crowds of people gather together and have a great time dancing, singing, and playing
