  1. One time a man came and asked Sandy Atcheson if he would give him leave to bury an old man on his land. Sandy said he would not. The man said he would bury him in spite of him. Sandy went in and got his two sons and gave them two rifles. He told them not to fire until he would tell them. They waited all night and early the next morning they saw coming towards them two men on horseback carrying with a dead man. They had a white sheet around him and they were carrying him between them. They came over buried the man and rode off. When they were gone out of sight Sandy asked his two sons why didn't they fire and they said he did not tell them. Sandy was dumb while they were there. Then they looked for the grave to take out the man and they could not get it.
