- A man named MacDermott from Corranmore once walked to Dubin in one day. He lived near Francis McMorrow's house. Tottenham was trying to raize his rent, so he sued Tottenham. One evening he got word from Dublin to appear in Dublin inside twenty five hours as the case was commencing in Dublin then. He set off as fast as he could and he being after a hard day's work. He arrived there just as the court was opening. He won the law and came home victorious. This story was told to me by a man aged 70 years named Thomas Cullen.
