  1. The following cures have being collected by all the pupils.
    Coughs and Colds.
    1. Hot buttermilk and sugar taken to meal before going to bed.
    2. Brown paper with pin-holes smeared with butter and applied to chest.
    Butter and sugar melted, mixed, and left to harden.
    Toothaches.
    1. Tobacco on soot put into the hold and left there until melted.
    2. Washing the mouth with salt and water.
    3. Jeyes fluid or Iodine on cotton wool.
    (Ho) Whooping Cough.
    1. Milk of an ass with first foal.
    2. Ferrits leavings food left behind by ferret, the milk must be brought from the patients house and given to the ferret. It must be then brought back and given to the patient.
