  2. The farmer is at the mercy of the weather. On this account he has to be a good judge of the weather and he has to use his keenest observations.
    When he goes out oin the morning he looks for signs of the weather in the sky. If the sky is clear and blue it is a sign that the day will be good. If the sky looks dull and heavy and clouded it is a sign of a bad day.
    At night he looks at the moon for signs of the weather. If there is a ring around
