    It is not lucky to look at a new moon through glass. If a cat follows one, (he) one will never get married.
    It is lucky for a dog to follow one.
    If one goes into a house with anything on his shoulder he will never grow (no) taller. A goat or a black cat is lucky.
    If any one saw the fairies they would try to catch them and get their crock of gold.
    May is an unlucky month to get married in, and it is unlucky to get married on Friday or Saturday.
    It is not lucky to throw out water after dark because one might drown the fairies.
