  1. I Come all you roving Irish men
    I hope you will draw near
    I hope you will and every one, will you join the Volunteers.
    They say we want a captain look out the best you can
    For we will have no one in our league but a Rallying Irish Man.
    Some say we will have Cormick Rooney
    For very well he is known from the upper end of Colloony to the bottom of Tyrone.
    II So he walks out on his avenue
    He will espy some crows that are picking up his flounders
    In the garden down below.
    He will quickly raise his rifle
    And out he shoots a quill
    Saying I wish to God that Carson was as near to Saddle Hill.
    III He returns to his avenue and then
