  1. Rossinver Braes
Adieu my native country, must leave you here behind.
And you of and seek my fortune in a far and distant clome.
To leave the land that gave me birth
It grieves my heart full sore
Adieu my old aged parents will never see thee more
The grandeur of my native place its pave ffor to behold
Its bright, far then an evening star or an emerald set in gold
When the eastern sun on a summers morn shed forth its glittering rays To enchant the scene that look so grand on hold Rossinver Braes
Adieu to Sheawn Mountain and its subterranean caves.
