  1. This story is told locally. Some say Cormac was McGowan and others say he was McClancy - one of the McClancys - chiefs of Dartry.
    The following revision was given to me by Wm. Feely of Wardhouse, a man of about 60 years of age. He got the story from his father an old man of 70 years.
    I also got this story from Antony Farrell, Buckode, Kinlough.
