    Friday and Saturday are considered unlucky days for marriages, and July and August are considered unlucky months.

    The straw boys visited the houses, they wore hats of straw and straw masks, and their coats turned inside out.
    The people used tor ace each other home on horseback and the person that would be home first would get a pint of whiskey. The wives used to sit on the horse's back with their husbands coming home from the wedding.
