    by the fairies. There was never any lights to be seen at that spot, but a short while after there was a man the name of McNulty going to the bog for a creel of turf and he had a very strong dog with him. He saw the black cat on a stile near the spot. The dog and the cat fought, but the dog killed the cat. The next day the dog died from no sickness, and the owner could not understand why.
