  1. In the Parish of Mullies there is said to be a crock of gold buried there by the Rooneys of that district. A man. dreamed three nights in succession about it and at last he went out to dig for it. He dug until he came to a flag and then a voice said to him; "Leave that there, it belongs to me." So it has never been found since.
