  1. My grandmother remembers seeing, a very famous pony called Cannon-ball. Its colour was white This animal was a grea[t] racer and was said to outdistance (ay) any horse. It was said to have won all the races it went in for.
    This pony was belong to an old-timer from Moycullen This man is said to hav[e] had a beard. Everytime the horse won a race its owner used to get drunk.
