Sgeatán Maireadh is so called because in a corner of it there was a little house and a woman lived in called Maireadh. There is a big tree growing near the corner and she used to hang clothes on it.
Tobhar Céile is so called because a family of the Healys lived there. They are not living now in it. They died out. It is a little well in Murleys field in Dangan.
The field near Conniffs is another field it is near Conniffs and that is why it is called that.
The middle field is another field it is called that because it is in the middle of the fields.
