  1. William Coffey aged 73 yrs of Roundfield cut the ear of a goat and put a hole in it. He put a piece of red tape through it and tied it round the neck of a child belonging to Eddie Coffey of Roundfield, Monivea to cure whooping cough. The child was cured and they believe that it was the goat's eat that cured the child.
