“There was once a king in Ireland and his sister died leaving three small children.”
There was once a king in Ireland and his sister died leaving three small children. The three of them grew up to be fine men. The king had a dream one night in which it was told to him that these three would bring about his death. The king believed in his dream and in the morning he hunted the lads from his palace. When they were gone he got sorry and sent a messenger after them. They were then in this big wood and when they seen the messenger coming they started to fight. When the messenger seen them fighting he got afraid and ran back to the king and he ordered that they should be brought to the palace and the king asked them what they were fighting about. They told him they were fighting about the wood and each of us claims them "The wood is mine"(continues on next page)
