Once upon a time there was a farmer who bet ten pounds with a beggar man that he would not be able to steal a horse without the stable boy knowing it.

Once upon a time there was a farmer who bet ten pounds with a beggar man that he would not be able to steal a horse without the stable boy knowing it. So the beggar went to steal the horse. He came to the farmer's house at night with a bottle of whiskey in each of his pockets. When the stable boy saw the bottles, he watched the beggar man until he fell asleep. Then he took the bottles and drank them and got drunk. The beggar then took the horse and won the ten pounds.
