  1. Years ago there were two Giants. One stood in Knockroe Hill and the other stood in Laragh Hill. The giant in Laragh Hill said "if you will not come down from that hill I will strike you with a stone. "Sure do" said the giant in Knockroe Hill. They both flung the stones at each other. The two stones met together on the land of Carrareagh and is still there in a large rock
