  1. There is a hidden treasure supposed to be in our field. It consists of gold. It is supposed to be under a large tree which grows in the middle of the field. One time a man was ploughing there and as he was passing the bush he saw the pot of gold. He was going to take it up but as there was another man coming towards him he was afraid he might want some of it so he decided to leave it there until the man left the filed again. When he returned the gold was nowhere to be found. He dug and dug there for hours but all to no avail. Whenever he went away from it the clay was put back again so he had to give it up. The Treasure Leapreachán is supposed to be minding it. People say they have often heard him there at night.
