  1. Cancle making
    First of all rushes were pulled and peeled. Then they were boiled and steeped in tallow and the candles were made. The tallow was got by killing a sheep or a goat and the lard of it was called tallow. The candles made for the 6th of January were called 'Pársoga'
    Nail making.
    A thick piece of iron was got and a hole was made in it much smaller than the wire which was got to make the nail. Then the wire was put into the hole and hammered. Last of all they got a piece of wire and made a head for the nail.
    Whip making.
    When they killed a horse they got its shin and put it steeping in lime. When it was
