    Long ago the people had different beliefs as to what should be done with the water with which they washed their feet.

    Long ago the people had different beliefs as to what should be done with the water with which they washed their feet. Some people say that immediately the feet were washed the water should be thrown away. Others say that if all the family is present throw it out but if not put a coal in it and keep it until everyone is present.
