  1. Once upon a time there was a man gong about the country selling poteen.
    One day he was selling it near a town and he saw the Sergeant coming towards him on the road.
    He ran around a cliff and hid it in a bog. Then he turned his coat inside out and went walking along the road again.
    When he met the Sergeant he asked him did he see the man that went around the cliff with the can, and he said he did not.
    Then the Sergeant saw the inside of the coat and he knew it was the same man. Then the Sergeant asked him what was in the can and he said it was poteen that he was bringing to the Sergeant's wife.
    When the Sergeant heard this he was very pleased and he said to tell his wife to leave it behind the door beside the other can. When
