  1. About forty years ago a woman and her sister lived in Clonderavon. One evening as they were coming down the road near Rockfield they met a funeral. The horses that were pulling the carts had no heads. At this terrible sight the woman got afraid and as they passed by they looked around to see them. One of the fairies struck her on the shoulder and he said asal amae. She had a pain in her shoulder for seven years.
