    It fell and there it is to-day called Leac an Bódacháin

    The hound pursued the royalstag
    With all its canine skill
    Round the shores of Log na nEach
    Andround that health cladhill
    Finn saw his hound in danger
    He called him back in vain
    But he leapt off Léim na h-eilte.
    And was never seen again
