  1. The Magic Well.
    Around the district of Clifden one evening there were two men playing cards one side of a well. They played a few games and after a while they put money on it and when they had a few games played
    when they started to fight over the money so some of the money fell into the well and one of the men ran home and the other man started
    to look for the money but he did not get it. After a few years there was an old woman passing the well
    and she saw the water pumping up
    so she stopped for a while to see it. She went home then and she told
    her son about it, and it was her son that was playing cards at it
