  1. The old people say that if a person is going on a journey and if he or she meets one magpie on the road he should return home because he would have no luck for the rest of the time. Two for good luck but three for a marriage. Four for a boy. Five for to get silver. Six for to get gold. Seven for a story that can never be told.
    If a person is going on a journey and meets a red haired woman that person would have no luck either. If a man is going out fishing and meets a woman he would catch no fish it is said.
