    The next day they set off again for the ruins. After a short time working they found the steel box and it safe and sound. They went home very happy with their money. When Patrick Canavan went home he had a letter from a friend of Tom King saying he was dead and the place was left to himself and his wife. Patrick Canavan and Peter Connolly lived happily ever afterwards and they never saw the Black dog again.
