  1. One day a poor farmer and his wife were sitting down and enjoying a dinner of potatoes and salt when in walked a travelling man and he asked for a dinner. The woman gave him his dinner. When he was done he said he had no money and he gave them three wishes. When he was going he said "I hope you will be rich when I come back again." "I hope so" said the woman. They said they would wait for the fair in Clifden for to use the wishes. They waited impatiently until the day came.
    They set out for the town at the break of day. When
