  1. One wintry evening a young girl was picking her way over a rough mountain road. Darkness came and the girl lost her way in the inky blackness. After what seemed a lifetime she reached a grassy knoll and she began weeping bitterly. She started up quickly and beheld a tall young woman striding towards her. The woman was dressed in white and had a black mantle draped over her shoulder. The girl told her she was lost.
    After a while the woman bade the girl follow her. Soon they reached a glade where a small shack was standing. The interior was dimly lighted and on a small bunk lay
